With Thanks!

Sunday May 30,2021

Dear West Cummington - Here is a sermon recorded before I left for Boston and two wonderful songs:

  • “Soul On Fire” by LaVern Baker. Works for all kinds of love!

  • And “Go Tell It On The Mountain” Fanny Lou Hamer at a meeting in the 60s.

Here’s to a little rain for the seedlings.— Steve

Dear West Cummington,
What joy to be together on Sunday! You ate telling me it was overwhelming, delightful, peaceful. Yes, all that. At the moment we’re scheduled for outdoor services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Sending the message out early this week, as we’re off to Boston.
I hope you’re in the mood for some gospel music!

1) “Leave It There” Hattie Parker and the Pace Jubilee Singers, 1928
2) Message “Like Your Neighbor"
3) “When The Saints Go Marching In” Precious Bryant, guitar and vocal

Until Sunday,Steve

Dear West Cummington,
Welcome to in-between Wednesday. All life depends on plants, one way or another. And the plants need sunshine and rain to grow. Well, we’re halfway there. Enough complaining about the weather. You’d think I was from New England.

Here are two short pieces of scripture and “Uncloudy Day” by The Blind Boys Of Alabama with the Preservation Hall Band.

Peace out.
