Zoom Service

Wednesday 2.23.2022

Dear West Cummington,
On Sunday we sang that good old tune, “They Who Wait Upon The Lord." It’s been part of our repertoire ever since Daphne brought it to us years ago. It was sweetl to hear it again
Butl I couldn’t let go of the lyrics and recorded this message.
Words and dollar signs were flying over Kyiv as I recorded this Let us pray that the bullets aren’t next.

Go in peace,
Steve

Dear West Cummington,
I hope this finds us all well. The weather is trying to help (right now anyway)For tonight we have a simple message from the story of Nicodemus in John 3.
The song, which would fit so many weeks, is Nerissa Nields, solo, "Give Me A Clean Heart."
Stay Strong. Stay Sane. And get some fresh air!

Peace,
Steve

Wednesday 2.2.22

Dear West Cummington,
A sweet respite between storms. This evening we have Tommy Castro rockin’ a rebuttal to Groundhog Day, “You Only Go Around Once." A message with overtones of Emerson and undertones of Donne. I leave it to you to decide whether it is over or under done.
Peace, Steve

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE DEACONS

This past Sunday WCCC’s service focused on reasserting our compassion for those who live at our doorstep. With the avalanche of everyday events they are too often overlooked and forgotten. With this in mind and a sense of racial justice, we ask that you make a donation to WCCC that will go to Hope for Haiti. The deacons find it to be a trusted organization working to reduce poverty in Haiti. Their focus is on connecting and partnering with others in Haiti to make their mission more effective.(Editor’s note: Like the MVP project.) Their partnerships are founded on trust, similar core values, and transparency, providing support and collaboration for the Haitian people every single day. Their vision for Haiti: Joyful children, healthy families, thriving communities, and the resources to make it so. Indeed Hope for Haiti aims to improve the quality of life for the Haitian people, particularly children.

Thank you from The Deacons.

Please make your check to WCCC and include Hope for Haiti in the memo line and send it to:
